Fourth Dimension Records was founded in 1983 by Gary Levermore of Third Mind Records. However, he was only responsible for the first release on the label before Richard Johnson (a.k.a. Richo) took over the following year. Since then, it has been responsible for simply reflecting Richo’s diverse music interests, although remains anchored to an approach initially inspired by those DIY/underground ripples of the early 1980s.
