My Branding and Identity professor in college, the talented Jeff Davis, once said that, "a logo is a good way to identify the talent of a good designer. If you can't make something look good when stripped down to the bare essentials in it's most simplistic form, then you won't be a good designer." I agree with that statement 100%.
